Adios 2025. Hello 2026 and the beginning of “Less is more”
Currently at 35,000 feet over the Gulf of ‘Merica on my way back from a trip to my condo in Ecuador with my kids. They’re adults and I’m so grateful they still wanna hang out with the old guy. Sure, a beach trip in December is a mighty tempting lure, but they are strong enough and independent enough to tell me no. And they know I’m totally cool with that. This may, in fact, be our last group trip. We’ll see. They’re getting awfully growdy uppy. So I turn my sights to tomorrow…January 1st…and my planned focus on less is more. 1. Less social media-peace out to TikTok and Facebook and Instagram. More time to work out. More time to write the books I have in my head. First one is started. 1. Less me. 2025 has been a full year of eating! And, surprisingly, I don’t have a teenager’s metabolism anymore. Sorry, Texas Roadhouse rolls! Can’t try to eat a dozen of you anymore. More healthy, but yummy foods. More clothes that fit even if they don’t come with stretchy fibers on the...
