Less temperature is more to see and enjoy
January in Montana sees the temps drop along with the flow rate of the rivers and streams. This means more moisture is staying up in the mountains.
While I love hearing the water flowing over the rocks and down the mountain, I’m incredibly thankful for the frozen precipitation and the protection it will help bring from fires this summer. Less flow is more protection.
The winter is a great time to prepare for summer. I’m down 22 pounds, so far, since New Years. The less me equals more energy and less joint pain. I want to be physically ready for summer and that will require less me. More hiking at the cabin. More projects at the cabin.
Less social media has allowed more focus and learning. Did a leadership presentation last week at the Montana Contractors Association Winter Convention. I felt it was solid before I did it. The feedback confirmed it was good stuff.
Eager for what the next 90 days has to offer.
